Got £1000 burning ahole in my pocket and have to spend it before the wife does!

Currently just a 1 bike owner (Scott Genius), I'm considering either a XC bike like a giant xtc or cube ltd race, so I can ride a few more miles quicker. I also want a genesis altitude so I can ride around my local trails (Bringewood) in a different vain to my Genius. However the last option is a cube cx comp for cx'ing around my local trails for a bit of a difference every now and then.

I can make up my mind, arrghhhhhhh!!!!!! Help

1000 quid, that's only good for a couple of wheels - not a whole bike

Get on with it

build something yourself something using the classifieds on here you'll get more for your money and learn a lot along the way as well as a sense of pride in "your bike".
i've done it twice now.

Once considered a singlespeed, they just dont cut the mustard around my neck of the woods! Theres not much any where near flat around ludlow/longmynd area!

They have been tried locally, without much success!

trailaddiction holiday plus alps proofing the genius :)?

If your not sure about what you want then save it until something really catches your eye. When i got a second bike i went for an SS to make it as different as poss from my full sus.
What do your mates ride? eg any of them ride more hardcore stuff or are some of them into getting some serious miles done?
