I've serviced forks over many years - yet I just can't get one pair of Rebas beyond being truly shocking. Pressing down on them seems to build up some pressure then they shoot down 10cm and lock up, more pressure and other 10cm further down they go.
I can get full travel and the lock out works. In actual use they do not feel notchy - but standing still and pumping all is not well.
Any ideas ?

are you sure the seals etc are in right ?

I suspect you are right. Air seals.
