I ride to work every day, 5 days a week (Mon-Thursday and Saturday). On Wednesday I usually go out on a night ride too. I ride 25 miles a day on the road bike, plus another 20 or so on a Wednesday night and another 10 on every other Monday when I go climbing. Some weeks I'll go mountain biking on Sunday too, but not this week.
Every Wednesday I get close to bonking on the last 2 miles of my ride home. I eat the same (actually, usually I eat more). It makes me feel like shit, and while tonight I know the wind had a bit to do with it I was wondering two things-
1- How do I stop this?
2- Why does it happen?
Any ideas?
1. eat more.
2. you're not eating enough.
I ride most days of the week, eat roughly the same and always hungrier later in the week than at the beginning
