Beautiful day here today and no time to get out for a ride. Think I’ll have to keep away from my feed as it’s going to be full of people sharing photos of endless rides under blue skies.

Need to sort my life out so I can grab these opportunities when they pop up!!

Meant to be riding tonight, but blowing a hoolie.

Been more annoying listening to all my neighbours cutting their lawns before tomorrows rain. I've not mastered this WFH mullarkey yet...

Double day for me.
Sneaked out for a run over lunch and will be out for another this evening.
The weather is simply to good not to.

Disappointed to say no... but i don't use Strava anyway. My lad said he was going to the gym so i fried my legs on Zwift at lunchtime, he then gets home and tells me he's going to woods... my legs ain't having that.

Sat here working all day as the sun beamed down , I should finish soon but just looked outside and, right on cue, it's gone very dark indeed and the Met office now says very heavy rain from 6-9PM.

Arse

Desparate conditions in Murcia today. This was Caravaca de la Cruz just before coffee.

Should be out tonight, but woke up with a trapped nerve/unable to turn head much. Started to ride to work this morning but couldn't shoulder check, so turned round and called in sick.

If it makes you feel better, here in North Herts it's been beautiful all day. Got bike ready and into kit at lunchtime. Out the door at 5 o'clock with it looking a bit grey. By 5:30 was being lashed by wind and rain 🙁

I quite often manage to get an afternoon ride in when I'm WFH - it just becomes a sort of "long lunch hour" and I head out to a local climb where there's a good coffee shop. Lots of possible routes, today I took the CX and did the gravel route, hoping that it'd be more sheltered from this bloody wind than the road route.

Feeling a bit guilty for not riding yesterday or today in the breezy sunshine, trying to let dinner go down before a short gentle outdoor ride...

But the rain band is rapidly approaching Southampton from the east, sunset is going to be early given the grey skies and tomorrow looks wet from mid morning.

Meh.

Mowed the lawn AND went out for a nice sunny ride. Wonderful tailwind on the way out, hellish headwind on the way back.
