Don't normally wave my willy about in public, but just measured my large Thumper at 1200mm ('oo 'er).
1201mm
1201.1
1201110 microns
^^Stable at hide speeds
Mines bigger
It's not how long it is...it's what you you do with it that counts.
Mine's MASSIVE btw.
Small nail, big hammer?
1206 in slackest setting, with 63.6° HA. A veritable barge!
Mine.

Are we measuring wheelbase?
My Dune is 1260 in "long" setting (long chainstay chips fitted)
But i'm pretty lanky too 😉
1218, wouldn't want any longer!
1224! (XL Mega AM 275)
Not got one (yet) but the Pole Evolink 140 (29er) is looking a bit lengthy.. 1224mm (XS) through to 1314mm (L)!
Banshee Prime - 1224mm with it's doofers in neutral
didn't bencooper of this parish start a thread on a 4 seater he built ? IIRC green it was huge (can't find the thread)
@frogstomp - just had a gander at the Pole website, nice looking cranes but by doG they're having a laugh with the prices, wowzers
Not as a wheelbase but front edge to back edge...1780 😉
@mulacs - £1800 (undiscounted RRP) for the frame and shock isn't way out there is it?
A mere 1131mm here. But its not size that matters.
But its not size that matters.
You're right - its what you do with it that counts. And what you should do with it is try and make it bigger somehow. 🙂
It's already got 29 inches.
About 1225 for my large Codeine with a slackset and 150mm fork. Crazy to see thatt's the same as the XS Pole
^ Bunch of big hand loving Donald Trump followers! 😈
Mine is IIRC 1189, but it's only a medium so it's poking beyond its length. Or something 😆
Are we allowed tandems? If not, then I win with this I think:

If we are allowed tandems, then I still win:

I want a go on both Ben's creations!
I like your chain tensioning idea, though - I should've done that, saved a lot of messing about.
The "ghost" chain rings work a treat. Or they did until we go a bit of chain stretch and the big one kept falling out. After we rode over it puncturing the rear wheel we welded a rear mech to the frame. Everything for the bike came from skips.
I was trying to work out how you tensioned your chains. Lots of adjustments with EBBs I presume?
No, they're BB-mounted chain guides - with an arm clamped behind the BB cup, and a pulley wheel.
My rat cruiser is over 8' long. Sorry no pics as it's currently disassembled.
