You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've never been, but seeing as it's just down the road from me, I might pop into Bakewell for one of the days
I'll be popping along.
My heroic old cycle won't (unfortunately) be ready.
You have to pay to get in this year apparently. 🙁
Unless you are marshalling the rides on Sunday 8)
Which apparently increases your chance of getting a place on next years ride 😉
Really looking forward to it, a normally cynical mate went last year and was impressed, got a retro bike to ride this year and found it was already sold out!
Any idea what times things run ish in terms of the music and such? Might be a nice distraction on the Saturday if it's a properly all day affair, not worth the trek of nothing really happens till evening
Thought this was about a mis-spelled porn exhibition. Disappointed now 😀
Just down the road from me so I'll be there, although helping a mate on a stand. The £10 pass does cover the three days, otherwise £5 per day.
Went last year and it was genuinely interesting, especially as the Thornbridge Brewery and Hendricks Gin were there (and are this year)
Didn't Thornbridge do a special beer last year for it?
Rather partial to their stuff....
I had a pint of Eroica on Thirsty Thursday. It was in one of Sheffield's millions of Thornbridge pubs, so was almost certainly a TB brew.
Jolly nice it was too, pale, balanced, not too hoppy.
They did, you can still buy it from the brewery, had some recently although I prefer the Jaipur
Got the bike, but after my jaunt up the snake pass on Sunday, I'll have to say I'm out. The bike nearly broke me. It looks nice though
How did the bike nearly break you ? I did the real l`eroica a couple of years ago good fun but bloody hard !!
I'll be taking the family.
I'm in. Did the 100 mile route last time. Hoping the weather holds as it was spectacular riding through the Peak in the sunshine with people from all over Europe and some very interesting retro kit and bikes. Some amazing food stops too.
In laws live on the route and were pretty cynical of it last year
Their opinion was it was a commercial exercise run by a group of Sheffield businessmen
It did seem to go down well though and seemed a lot of fun for those involved and brought 1000's of people into the area
Be interesting to see what effect the admission price has on this years event

It's not exactly a comfortable ride, and quite highly geared.
I know - Rule #5
I waS amazed at some of the older Italian guys getting up gravel hills on 42 x24 in Chianti !
Looks good! Wheres best to park???
we've got a 3 day pass but probably going to try guess which has the best weather and just go that day.
All parking is sold out so we're going to try and wing it
If you are coming from the Baslow side of Bakewell turn left onto Coombs Road immediately before the bridge and there is a large car park there.
Me and some loutish mates are going for the Saturday.
Yes it was brilliant last year(lovely weather helped) great atmosphere and good fun 🙂
CTC are still asking for volunteers to marshall the Sunday rides - gets you a pass to the event.
