I have form for this.
Saw a 2007 Zaskar Pro up on the old bay of e last night. Guy wanted $250 for it. They don't come up often and I've not seen a Pro before. I have a 2001 Race (and a standard 2001 Zaskar) but the Pro has hydroformed tubing, looks a little different. Flat end cap but no GT logo on. 26" but disc specific. Anyway, offered a cheeky $175 which was instantly rejected. So I offered 180. Boom!
So the 2007 Pro has Kinesis Superlight tubing and the 2001 Pro has Easton Ultralight.
Soz wifey, another GT in da house 🙂

Maybe I should put my 2007 Zaskar Expert Disc up for sale. I believe all of the 2007 Zaskars were made with Kinesium tubing with a lot of hydroforming but with the traditional triple triangle and pierced top tube. The result is a very light and stiff frame but I never felt it was a harsh ride. I think the difference between the Expert and the Pro was the frame colour (black for Expert, silver for Pro) and the components (Recon and LX for the Expert, Reba and XT for the Pro.
I had a few a little while back, a few days later I took receipt of a guitar, that was quite a shock.

Why not? There's a couple of GT Zaskar groups on Facebook. GT Vault and GT Zaskar Owners, something like that. Still a demand so you should be able to shift it. One of my mates (GT Retro Tom) is a bit of a collector, might be interested. Whack some piccies up and away you go.Â
Ah marvellous!!....
Got a message from the frame seller, has included bars, stem, seatpost, front and rear XT mech in the package to help with the build. What a gent!

Do you even play the guitar? It'd be an even bigger shock if you don't...
