If you had a choice to ride with anyone in the world , alive or dead . Who would it be with? 🙄
My father inlaw. I loved riding bikes with him.
Stephen Hawking.
My dad. He's great.
Rosie Jones
My mother (now deceased). I'd have loved to be able to ride with her when she was touring Scotland by bike, using Youth Hostels. My one day would be Edinburgh to Strathpeffer (175 miles). She always assured me that a friend and her did it in a day. This would have been on a 3-speed "tourer). Whenever I challenged her on this, she'd tell me that "the roads were different in those days", to which my Father once said "Yes. They were shorter" 🙂
my Grandad (on the left)

The big JC. And I'd spend the whole ride wittering on about how riding a single speed is s**t.
Nice people that are interesting. No faffing, no excuses, just nice ride enjoying the ride, the ups and downs and the tea stops with good conversation.
If it was a Motorbike it would have to be Steve MacQueen off road brill 😀
Jim Morrison would be cool.
Sharki. It's always a laugh...
just someone who was a similar pace to me, and if I can learn something then that's a bonus
My granddad. Never new him.
Steve Peat
My sons neither of them can ride a bike 🙁
My Dad,
last time we did was 1974
Helen Skelton, hopefully (undoubtedly) she'd be quicker than me so I'd have to follow...
My mother when she was in her late teens - she rode a cast off track bike from her parents' neighbour and took it all over south Wales.
She's the person who gave me the love for riding bikes.
She's had a tough year on the health front and riding a bike daily has kept her sane.
Chapeau Mum!
Paris Hilton
I went for a ride with Steve Roche a few weeks ago. Not that I would have picked him, but it seemed a few of the star struck club members might well have.
he was a cool guy though, and still fast.
Sir Chris Hoy, race'n for road signs...and stuff! I'd give it a go Not sure I'd win though! 😆
I have to agree that Sambob's dad is indeed great..
I would have loved to have ridden with my Granddad.. he was a very game cyclist in his day..
Greg minnar. I love his style and reckon it would be an amazing learning experience.
Guy Martin
My brother, died in '96.
Not a "cyclist", but always used a bicycle as his mode of transport around SW Scotland. Would have been cool to go for a ride with him and stop off for a pint or two at village pubs.
Morrisey...or Elvis
Wipes tears.. lovely posts guys; better than Suprise Suprise
Alistair Cooke.
