Spent the last two weeks, researching, reading and googling as to which bike to get, as it's time to put my 456 evo 2 into semi retirement. My God what a nightmare. When you have little or no money, it's easy as your budget determines your build, but when you have a bit more to spend, I'm not up for building, but buying a complete bike.
So long story short, I've opted for a 2017 Genesis core 20.
There were so many good contenders, Norco, lapierre, but the only thing that swung it, was the fact I can use my reverb dropper post on the core 20, as the seat post are the same size. And I can chuck some of my drive chain on.
Anyway, any comments on the 2017 core 20?
Im asking here as I will have more of a wider view and maybe something to think about.
I will be using the bike for commuter duties, the odd weekends in the woods messing about, and long jaunts.
