Sorry, bit of a vague one. I need some new bar tape, I’ve seen the odd picture of bikes with black bar tape with different colours in the perforations, I like it and I want it. I’ve done a google and can’t find the tape (nor the bikes with it fitted 🙄 ) so over to you. It’s not Rapha tape as that’s just one colour, and I don’t think it’s the cinelli kaleidoscope stuff as the colours aren’t right. Hope you Have an idea what I’m wittering on about
There's loads of tape that's perforated with one single colour showing. That's not what you mean?
If not the Cinelli stuff, then what colours are you after?
No this has a few different colours, pinks, blues
Have a scroll through all the bar tape on Wiggle, Evans etc - I guess your question was hoping to avoid that though?

Cinelli caleido ? - i have this on a colnago and it has multicolours showing through the perforations..

Haha, dont want to hijack the thread but here some details - its a Master(or possibly Master Pui) I bought as a frameset a while back. Supposedly it was an ex trade team frame from Belgium (has race number pip) that went back to factory after use by team and had repaint in current art-decor colours.
My original plan was to build it up with NOS period campagnolo, but after seeing the cost of this I built it up with a mix of more modern 10 speed Campag Daytona and Veloce (but stuck a rather nice raceface cadence road crank on as well) - this way I got the wonderful zingy ride of a classic steel frame with brakes and gears that work ;-). I did stick to period stem (panto'd), bars, and saddle so it looks the part
its currently set up with a set of Camapgnolo Neutron ultra wheels (very light) but occasionally i stick on the 50mm deep wheels in the pic above - the bike looks amazing and always gets great comments when out..
Ohh by the way its currently for sale...55cm CTC top tube 🙂

Those bars look awful rotated upwards like that, hope the new owner sorts that out.

it's available elsewhere without the spelling mistake - it's Cinelli Kaleido.
[EDIT] hmmm - many places have it as Caleido too...but i'm guessing it's from Kaleidoscope, so should be "K". Anyway - Merlin have is for £21.
