I thought I'd post this as there's not much info on the web.
When I Google'd this question, I got a link from this forum saying that Mavic sealant is made by OrangeSeal[1].
In fact, the product information sheet on Mavic's website[2] says that it is made by Adhestick of Israel. Adhestick make Joe's sealant. I emailed them and they confirmed that I could use Joe's Super Sealant to top up.

I'd say the answer OrangeSeal was a reply to "are there any particular sealants that work better in high pressure , road tyres?" rather than who makes Mavic sealant.
But cool, useful info. I've had good results with Mavic's stuff.
