Yes, I built up a rather nice Van Nic Ti roadie for all that 'credit-card touring' I was going to do. 4 years and less than 500km later I realised I get little enjoyment from road biking and have sold the thing.
Whyte CS29.. It's really my only MTB now and does everything and keeps me in the Grand vets top 8 locals races. Hell even rocked a week at Glen Tress this year on it, whilst there for the wife's 50th.

Both with no special bike so I thought bollox to that and I have bought myself a S-150C RS as a bonfire night prezzie.

Not particularly bling for most but was for me a ti genesis altitude & yes I did regret it, never really hit the spot and much happier riding my old prince Albert instead
