Found out today I have spondylolisthesis, on the small end of the spectrum, a few mm of misalignment.
Any on and off the bike tips to recover/manage this? Could do with success stories.
I already had a thread for saddle height, came to the working hypothesis of saddle angle on steeper climbs being a trigger, ie whenever I've done a bit of steep climbing, my back is worse.
This guy...? Probably not directly helpful, but topical
There are several different causes of a spondylolisthesis; but with general assumptions and that it’s a L4L5 or L5S1 Grade I, you can get good outcomes with conservative treatment. We used to see lots of athletes with the same condition and they did very well overall.
If you haven’t been referred for any rehab then booking in with a registered healthcare professional will be worthwhile; they can do an assessment and in conjunction with you, work out a plan.
