It's arrived.... looks good, feels quite heavy but I expected that. Brakes are rubbing which is a bit disappointing, not set up well. Still, looking forward to riding it hoe from work on Monday.

Here it is by my desk:

Has yours arrived yet?

@fedaralski

I managed to find it via Google, just seems strange they removed it from the site navigation, and don't list a reason for unavailability...i.e out of stock etc.

I was tempted to take a punt on a small one to replace a Boardman CX which I am not 100% sure about. Mute point if they are not available.

Strange. After the Rival equipped bikes vanished from the site, they have now re-launched, but with Tiagra, for £800.

Render missing from stone wall. Climber plants need trimming back. Moss needs eliminating.

Nice bike.

Liking the look of this. I'm in the market for a new winter bike and the discs make this a very attractive option for the descents I have to do on my commutes!

Does it come with a carbon fork or alloy?

Any more thoughts on how it rides? I am seriously considering one after my Croix de Fer was stolen recently. Looking for a solid commuter / tourer / child carrier etc. I have to say the Croix de Fer was quite heavy but great otherwise.

Thanks Rob. I wanted to put 25mm tyres and the Mach 1 rim is 27mm wide so not ideal. What size are your tyres?

PS In fact I noticed you alreay mentioned that, doh! 🙂
