I like these

but in total contrast aesthetically I also like these

although the bolts [s]are[/s] look too close to the edge to my eye.

I think the really old ones from decades ago are the most interesting, of the modern ones I'm biased but

I'm currently looking into replacing my old Lemond headtube badge. Who made that Stormtrooper/Intense one stevied? I was going to have a direct replacement made but quite like that. G

The Jones scores well on the 'wings, flames, wheels, mountains, pick many' rule of headbadges.

Shame Syncros didn't get into bikes, always liked this classic badge
[img] [/img]

GT did wings best
[img] [/img]

and while looking for that GT, this car came up, pretty cool too

I'd imagine he did.

Any chance of a 'From the Sticks' one for the hardtail Steve?

The top one is a full-on grille rather than a headbadge 😀

It's all about the feeling and memory they evoke, innit? Very rarely do people pick what they think is nice, just for it being a good piece of art.

So in that spirit.

Old
[img] [/img]
(decal, more than a badge I guess)

New

But as I've had 2 of these, I also have a soft spot:

The Jones one is getting my vote, Yeti second and Singular third, however, while not really a badge i kind of like the head tube picture that Elephant cycles uses.

[img] [/img]

You can just about make it out on this pic.
