Most forums I've frequented provide the names of the moderators. Am I missing something here? I don't see the names of STW mods anywhere.

They used to be know and open but they got some grief on a forum ride so are now anonymous except for Drac
Some use a user name to mod such as merlinman iirc but no one knows who they are. They are all volunteers though

Mods are anonymous at my strong recommendation. They are volunteers and I genuinely fear for the abuse they would undoubtedly get if they were known. I'd really appreciate it if it stayed that way.

Yeah from time to time I've had some. I'm thick skinned though comes with the job but Mark's right it's for the best people remain anonymous where they chose to go with Mark's advice. I will say out of all the forum members I've met in real life none have ever giving me abuse to my face, which is good. Thanks to those who appreciate me being an open presence on the forum.
