Who are they & has anybody got any experience of purchasing from them. I can see they are mainland Europe based but these & a couple of others who I’m aware of are the only retailers that have a product I’m looking for ?

Used Mantel recently; good price, efficient comms and rapid delivery.
Would not hesitate to use again.

Had a couple of tyre orders from Mantel and not had a problem with them.
I think they're french, but similar to the German sites, add a couple of days for delivery and you're all good.

Not ordered from LordGun, had a look but if I remember rightly the postage was quite high and cancelled out any savings

Careful, the reason Lordgun show a huge range of stuff is that they just stick their suppliers' feeds straight onto their websites regardless of whether they have it in stock so be careful if you need rapid delivery.

Got bitten by that before when ordering a SRAM spare that nobody else seemed to list.

What are you after?

I used Lordgun for a SLX 12 speed rear mech. Cheapest place I could find and came in about 10 days. All painless.

Yeah SRAM stuff XX1 Eagle 104 BCD 34T chain ring to go with a quarq PM. The bike has direct mount ring which won’t work with the Quarq power meter.

As above, used Mantel a few times. Absolutely no problems at all. They're Dutch I think?

Thanks one last question if anybody can illuminate me on this; Whats Dub SL as opposed to just Dub when referring to XX1 eagle ?

I've bought a couple of pairs of tyres and tubes from Lordgun, they're still in transit but it has only been a few days. They're based in Italy hence why they seem to stock so many Italian brands

Mantel are Dutch, I've used them a few times and no problems. Delivery was very fast last time I used them a couple of weeks a go.

No idea about Lordgun.

You can get an SL eagle chainring and a standard alu eagle chainring, so I guess it’s the ring that’s different. There’s a few grams and a bit of extra bling factor on the SL. I’ve got the standard as it was half the price...

Just had a Hope hub from Mantel. Can you believe, I'm not that far from Barnoldswick but no one in the UK could sell it and get it to me cheaper than someone in the Netherlands.

Go figure.

Another thumbs up for Mantel. Delivery from Holland has been quicker than most UK retailers.

I've just got an order in from Lord Gun - Italian so took maybe a day or two more than local - no problems for me. Emails came in ITalian and English so no worries on that respect. Will probaby try them again if I spot anything.

My last Mantel order was for the new sram 520% range kit recently. Came with in a couple of days, all brand new boxed retail kit. Was a decent £££ value order so no probs.

Netherlands based so pretty quick to uk. Quicker than economy delivery (and express) from many uk suppliers too.

I've used both. Mantel cheap and very fast delivery to say they're across the water. Lord Gun fine too but a little longer delivery.

Just received some pedals I ordered on Sunday today from mantel. Super efficient and in full retail packaging despite being cheaper than the usual suspects

Mantel are my new favourite online Bike retailer - ordered loads from them in recent months and all arrived from the Netherlands within 4 days. Have been a good source of SRAM Eagle AXS conversion kits and competitively priced.

Used Lordgun, took a bit longer than usual but arrived and was cheaper than the same part in the UK even with the postage. Ultegra 6800 direct mount calipers BTW.

Order some SRAM GX brakes from Lord Gunn 2 weeks ago, cheaper than anywhere else even with postage/taxes tagged on. great service, arrived within a week, and came with everything they should. So shout out to them, would use again.

Less keen on Lordgun so far after my first order the other day. Took weeks for pedals to arrive and they turned out to be a little battered. LordGun confirmed they'd been previously returned.

I just want to return and swap for a brand new pair but they can only offer refunds and have wacked up the price in the meantime. I'll end up with two currency charges on my credit card, have to wait ages for the refund and still don't have pedals which I'll have to get elsewhere now.

Not impressed.

Mantel are great though.

I've used both in the past couple of months.

MTB tyre from Lordgun and a set of Power Meter pedals from Mantel.

Impressed with both.
