Hi
Anyone run a WI trials freewheel?
I’m in need of a freewheel for my SS fatbike 18t.
WI seem be £100 unless anyone knows of any cheaper option that is as good.
Thanks in advance.

I've run WI freewheels on a couple of bikes in the past, and they are excellent. Though the much vaunted ability to rebuild them is rather pointless when the spare parts are so expensive in the UK.

I've been also been running an ACS Crossfire freewheel on my Dialled Love Hate since last winter, and it hadn't skipped a beat. Far, far better than the Shimano or Sturmey Archer offerings.

Not as bling as a WI one, but at £16 a pop you can buy 6 for less than one WI.

Nice find ajantom, a sensible priced alternative to the Craft cheese Sturmey Archer, although....

Crossfire freewheels are removable with our unique 6-spline tool that fits all sizes.
ANOTHER bloody freewheel tool! 🙄
