White cranks?

I got kind of fond of the look of white cranks on my bike (some old MRP Camber's), but I can't find anyone that makes anything anymore

Gusset seem to have made some not too long ago (TAF 24) although I've no idea if they were any good

Race Face used to make a few

Anything I'm missing?

Could you buy some silver cranks and get them powder coated?

New other Truvativ Holzfeller £50 + £3.99 postage from Trials Outlet on eBay - couldn't copy the link.

Think they look yucky personally though.

On further Googling, also available from Amazon at several times the price.

Also on eBay there's a Race Face Ride 2x for £49.99 + postage.

Can you tell I've got nothing better to do this morning 😉

Ha! Thanks @angrycat. Not sure about the Truvativ's as I think they would doom me to a a weird splined BB. The Race Face could be perfect though (assuming those rusted crank bolts are removable...)

As for the Unite's or powdercoating something, I'm afraid both options appear expensive enough that I would probably just unattach myself from this colour scheme.

Yes. White cranks look dreadful on any bike. Second only to white rims. Hope that helps 😉

FSA did the old Power Pro in white, that's going back a good few years though. But at least you get used a square taper BB with them

White fork lowers can be added to that!

And white saddles.

I was riding at Cwmcarn once and smashed my brakes up so needed to buy an emergency replacement. They only had these cheap Deore ones in white.

Couldn't get them off fast enough! 🙂 (Although they're still knocking about somewhere in my spares)

White saddle and cranks for me on this build 🙂 But I agree on the white rims.

Seems like a reasonable way to add some ungarish colour to my rather boring black F+F. Too many adonised parts could get out of hand.

@legometeorology - re the Truvativ cranks, I've found the Howitzer BBs that go with them are pretty much indestructible!

They're very chunky outboard bearings (considerably bigger than HTII) and a very solid splined axle.

I bought a set cheap for a beater bike years ago (10+), and it's been on various builds over the years and just keeps on going!

Oh dear.

Your main colours are blue and black, so stick to blue and black.

On bikes you have the main colour, then the highlights and a component colour like spokes in silver or black. So effectively thats three colours. Add a 4th and we're now in the realms of the 1980's

Na, you're talking as if art is a science.

One of the nicest builds I've ever seen does it's own thing:
