What type of riding are you looking at doing/what level are you at?

All the rental places in town are pretty good, all with decent bikes

Asking for a Spanish mate, good rider I wouldn't say he was up to doing huge gnarrrrr jumps but a competent rider. He is well into flow

For hire bikes just stroll around the village until he finds a type of bike he fancies they're competitive with with each other and they all looked in good nick to me, not like say Morzine when they're all battered. Most hire places have them on racks outside.

For Park trails they're all good, "flow" and "tech" trails are signposted as such, start on B-Line or something and build up to find your level.
