A Very Merry Christmas to you all.

Been looking at some new road wheels for the Spesh Allez I have and seen these on CRC at resonable prices (within 150 quid budget)

What would be your choice from

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=42068

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=25889

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=42577

or do you have another option??

Also whats the crack with Campag and Shimano rear hub/cassette compatability??

Cheers
Carl

Neither!

get your local wheelbuilder to build you some, they will last forever. For £150 you should get 105 hubs on mavic rims, sorted! Factory built cheaper-end wheels are terrible IMHO and if you are heavier than 12 stone almost guaranteed to go wrong within the year.

Good luck

Thanks but after a quick google I'll need more than Good Luck. The hubs and rims will set me back just short of 130 quid and then there are spokes and labour on top of that.

For budget Factory built wheels then I think these take some beating. They seem to ride like a more expensive wheel IMO

I've used these for 6 months and 1500 ish miles of commuting over crappy Yorkshire roads and they still run smooth, straight and true.
