Ok so I have got a Conti Speed King and a conti Mountatin King to try out so one on the front and one on the bag. Im thinking the mountain king prob has more grip so was going to put that on the front as oversteer is more controllable than understeer. What are other thoughts?

And I know someone is going to say Conti's are rubbish!

I've got a Conti Mountain King 2.4 on front and it's great.

Conti speed king I'm saving for the summer, not enough IMO for muddy conditions so running a Maxxis Medusa which is awesome but seems to be wearing fast.

On my other bike I have MAxxis highrollers front and back and like them too, but ridges on HR's seem to pick up the sides of rutts too readily IMO not a problem with Conti

High roller front, Medusa on the back. Both Exception Series on my XC bike.

High rollers front and rear on my Blur and I never change those.

2.4" Rubber Queen, of course! It's what all the cool kids are riding.

Had swampthings and they were great but to draggy! Had to pedal downhill. Xc pro's were good but worn out. Another guy who I ride with rides speed kings and flies through most stuff and with the price on on one thought they were worth a shot! Ride bedfordshire sand but its quite hard packed and there is maybe one mile of really sloppy stuff on a 14 mile route so its not worth the drag of swampthings! Anyway its more fun sliding around!
