Apologies for the crap question but just about to pick up some stans crest wheels, can I use any valve or do they need to be Stans?

Get some with a removable core, easy to put the latex in. I use the DT Swiss one's fwiw

The superstar ones are the same as WTB, they're light (for the alu ones) and they work really well. I prefer the bigger conical bases on these to Stans, they're less picky about sealing ime (whether that be iffy rim taping, or damage to the valve hole, or whatever- they just make things a bit easier)

Stans are fine though, Roval work well too. Or you can often bodge it with an old tube, though results vary, not all tube valves work
