Any suggestions on which training app (i.e training peaks, strava etc.) will let me, for free (importantly - unless it's strava, I'd be prepared to pay for premium for that) create ad-hoc workouts rather than having to buy/download a set training plan?

This is mainly so I can use the 'Planned workouts' screen on the Bolt, one of it's limitations I've found is the inability to create additional screens, or remove data when the sensor isn't connected - which means my main screen for commuting/general riding (when not wearing the HR strap) has: speed, avg speed, ride time, total miles, clock, temperature, total time. However if wearing the HR strap I want BPM up top, along with HR %/Zone - however they'd be useless when I'm not wearing it and would be taking up space which could be used for other data.

The planned workouts screen is awesome, much better doing actual training where you have a target, but that only shows when you've got a planned workout synced, hence my question 🙂

I'm using training peaks at the moment as I have the free premium they give you at the start, but it doesn't look like you can schedule workouts without it, and I'm not paying $20 a month for it!!!! I have download a BC training plan but I'd much rather set my own, I'm basically doing 2-3 base mile rides a week for the next few weeks, so doesn't need anything fancy, just to be able to set a target HR zone and duration. I don't know why Strava doesn't have this?!?!?

Edit: Ok, just read that the training peaks free account will let you create training plans for the same day, just not plan future workouts, is that correct? If so I'm more than happy with that, just takes a couple of minutes on the PC to create them after all.
