I bought the x tools one from Wiggle. No issues in past year and pretty accurate.

I've got 2.
One for the high torque stuff and useful on a car occasionally too and a smaller bike specific one for the likes of stem bolts etc.

Never worried too much till I got a carbon frame but wouldn't be without them now.

I did have the x-tools jobby which broke on third use and stopped snapping to indicate torque had been met. Due to that and the specs on the manual being wrong the head on a pivot bolt sheered and caused an absolute nightmare of a removal in a freshly painted frame. I replaced it with a more expensive norbar that has worked perfectly and will continue to do so for many years.

X tools works well and really good value. Have lots (aero engineers) so check them, including the Brand X and it’s reasonably accurate and works well.

Norbar all day long, or MHH Engineering (I think they're called) Gedore now.

Up until 2 years ago I worked for the biggest calibration company in the world (ever). I've set up and gained accreditation for several 17025 calibration facilities where we calibrate 1000s wrenches and drivers per year - I've even calibrated some for guys on here. Whilst the Xtools ones are great vfm they're not that accurate, nor do they last that long. For a little bit more cash you can have one which will easily last your life time and give you accurate repeatable readings every time.

Just make sure you look after it by backing off the tension after you use it.
