I bought these Shimano adaptors (SM-RTAD05) to use my six-bolt rotors on centrelock hubs. All is well apart from the tool I was told I needed to lock the adaptors to the hubs (Shimano TL LR15 Cassette Tool) does not work. The ridges on the 'adaptor lock' are external rather than internal. Which tool should I purchase? Thanks!

Could be an external BB tool. Although with recent size changes to BBs it could be one of a few sizes.

Hollowtech 2 spanner is what you need.

Thanks for the help. Ordered the Hollowtech II tool. Looks about right for what I need.

Yep. And a towel or cloth to wrap round your hand, the splines aren't very deep and if the tool slips while you're tightening, smacking your knuckles against the spokes is type 3 fun.
