I've had Time 'RXS First' pedals before and they were good, I've just switched to Speedplay Zero's but I think I've taken a wrong turn so considering going back to Time.

What would you recommend?

I used RXS, now on iclics and to be honest i would say go with the RXS, the cleats are crap on the iclics and i believe the expresso use the same.

By crap i mean not very durable.

Also went rxs first to iclics. The iclics are great but as above, cleats wear out quick

Very happy with my RXS. nearly 4 years old, used every weekend April-September and still on the original cleats

I also have the rXS and have done for a few years now. Just interested why you don't get on with the speed play?

@spazzolino

I like a relatively 'mid-foot' cleat set up and even slid back to their maximum, the Speedplay cleats didn't go back to where I wanted them (a problem I didn't have with the Time pedals I had previously).

Velomanic - if you liked the RXS ones, as I did, its worth trying the Iclics. Much better on engage and release, but as above, cleats not durable for walking at all. I bought some of those rubber cleat covers which are ideal. I wouldn't go back to RXS now
