I'm currently using my MTB shoes and SPDs on the road bike, what shoes should I be looking at to enable me to run proper road pedals in the future? I've always gotten on well with Shimano shoes.

Go by what fits so probably Shimano again. R087 are good shoes without breaking the bank.
