I'm thinking the Hope XC as the Hope Pro 2 is a bit more future proof what with 12mm maxles and all that....
Sell em both and get some Chris Kings.
Keep both, you never know when you'll need a wheel.
I'd be interested in a pair of xc's depending on colour/condition..
I'm convinced he XCs are better hubs. Certainly the bearings are beefier, last longer and are all the same (there's 3 different bearings in a rear Pro2) and cheaper. The steel freehub body doesn't cut up either.
Plus they don't sound like a skeleton having a w*** in a biscuit tin...!
Here too, prefer my XCs over my Pro2s
Pro2 front, XC rear, especially if you have the lighter ti freehub version.
XC rears are better hubs by miles, but Pro 2s more adaptable. So whichever is important to you.
got to be a pro 2 front for the adaptability
Prefer XC noise level but had no issue from either tbh
I have a set of each as well.
Is their not an issue getting spares like pawls for XC hubs now are Hope still doing spares? Seem to recall a mate struggled to get parts for his XC
i got spacers and pawls for my xc no problem , run a xc rear pro2 front its all the wheelset im likley to ever need.
