I have a brand new back wheel as advised by STW. The rim is a WTB KOM i25 and it will be on the back of Transition Scout.
I have bought three tyres which I can put on it:
1. WTB Trail Boss TCS 2.25 (tread looks quite low profile and closely spaced)
2. Bontrager XR4 Team Issue TLR 2.35 (tread looks quite low profile but wider spaced)
3. Specialized Purgatory Grid 2.3 (bigger tread with medium spread, have used this tyre before and quite liked)
Now I'm sure these are all wrong 😉 but which of the three would you put on? given that I am lucky enough that the first place it touches the ground will be the South Island of New Zealand 🙂
