Which mudguard would you recommend for a Fox 38 for?
I know there´s a Fox one but it´s expensive and I need 2.
Thanks in advance.
.
Pro guard bolt on.
Isn’t the pro guard £10 more expensive than the fox? I’ve syncros guards on my 36 and 34 forks & hope they’ll come up with the goods shortly.
The pro guard is a lot bigger that the syncros ones though. I've got the standard ones and previously had a bolt on.
I don't even need to wear any eye protection with those mud guards!
The fox one on my 2020 36 is better than the syncros ones as it protects the seals. I actually got a rock stuck between the syncros fender, tire and stanchion in a crash.
Haven't used the rrp but would choose this next time over the mudhugher on my winter bike (too much tape covering the contact points). Size is nice but I still get an eye full on the odd occasion I actually get full cornering commitment.
I have the RRP bolt on (the smaller one) on my Z1. It's nice and neat.
£10 is neither here nor there if you've spent 1200quid on a fork surely? 😉
RRP Proguard bolt on, brilliant thing and the bigger one is good enough for proper winter weather.
RRP Proguard Max.
Proguard here too, the smaller one. fits superbly & doesn't move, no cable ties to rub the paint off.
Well worth the money & I echo BillOddie's sentiment!
