Hi all
My Genesis is old but new to me and I thoroughly cleaned and inspected the chain last night. I can see where links have been replaced with links from a different model chain at least twice in the past which suggests a new and stronger chain might be required.
Current chain is a Shimano HG40 on a 3/32 Alfine geared hub.
I'm going to order a KMC B1 (SS) Narrow chain to replace the old. Question is can I use the KMC 6/7/8 reusable Missing Link?
If not which spare should I carry?
