[Closed] Which helmets fit like Specialized?

Giro Savant has been my road helmet for almost 3 years, ~62cm oval head here, that's always a struggle to find replacements every few years.

I also wear a Tactic. My other helmet is a Kask, so might be worth looking at those.

Yup Kask - gone from a Spesh S2 road lid to a Kask Protone. Giros aren't too bad, but not as good as Spesh or Kask.

Was always Spesh, then fell for a Kask Mojito, then fell with that on and ended up with a Smith, having tried a Kask and Smith back to back in our local Cycle Republic.

I'm a snug medium specialized also.

Giro Savant and Foray is a good fit as above.

I'm a Specialized xl rather than medium but the long narrow thing applies and I find very few helmets fit me. Spesh Road helmet excellent fit, Giro on mtb a good bet, Troy Lee A1 fits well too. Couldn't get a Kask on my bonce, or a Bell. Just realised my Giro Hex needs replacing.

I struggle to get away from the tactic for fit and price. Ticks both boxes.

I have a Troy Lee A1 for proper mtb duties but the tactic fits better.

Specialized used to offer a crash replacement of 40% off a new helmet (or that amount deducted from a more expensive model), I've always dealt with Spesh UK direct but I believe a Concept Store will honour this too. No reason to think they've stopped doing this.

Spesh vary a bit, tbh - different models have different fits.

IME from bowl head to Alien;
Bell - roundest.
Kask.
Spesh.
Giro - Narrowest side to side.

I like Kask. They fit and the build quality makes everything else feel a bit cheap.
Ugly though. 🙂

I forgot about crash replacement, thanks! Have spoken to Specialized UK and emailed pics so hopefully that'll be a nice discount.
