a mate has bought a 2011 Sunn Prim Finest Ti frame but the headset won't seat properly (i's either loose and knocking or binds if slightly tightened... it's an integrated headset. he got the headset from his LBS who confidently handed over one for the frame, but I'm not convinced they know what they are on about. either it's a duff headset, or the seats in the frame are skewed, or they just gave the wrong spec headset.
we've searched the tinter web for specs, but can't find anything.
so anyone know what integrated headset standard Sunn used?
I'm having the same problem - new frame, I've tried two integrated headsets, and both top caps bind slightly on the head tube.
What you need are 'microspacers' :

These go under the top cap and lift it up slightly to stop the binding. I ordered a couple from Petra cycles last night, hopefully they'll be here soon and I can see if they're deep enough.
For now, I've stuck my smallest normal headset spacer under the cap, but at 5mm it's left a large gap to allow water and dirt in - it does work however.
If the microspacers are hard to find or not tall enough, Middleburn do a 1mm headset spacer that will do it, but I've only seen it as part of an expensive pack of spacer.
So much for headset 'standards'.... Why do we need so many types? Oh, for the good old days of 'one inch' or 'inch and an eighth' being the two choices...
