As the title says. I agreed to press a headset into this frame for a friend, only to find when presented with the frame that it takes an integrated headset that required no pressing in at all. But, the integrated headset provided (a 45 degree specimen) conspicuously didn't fit. A brief internet search didn't turn up the correct specification. Any idea what is supposed to be fitted into this frame?

Have you tried the Cane Creek headset fit?
If the bike is on there, it will give the details.

Mine has an AI-24 fitted. Funnily enough I'm trying to source a new replacement and have been waiting two months now courtesy of Balfa UK. Sadly their communication is terrible and I've been left hanging.

This maybe a better option to go direct from Germany - at least its in stock (although they don't seem to have the ceramic version)
