Now it is getting much lighter in the evening it wont be long before I can get rid of the lights for the evening rides. However on the odd occasion that I pop in the pub on the way back or in case of mechanicals that make my ride that bit longer I need a small light to keep in my bag. Ideally shouldn't require fixing or a QR system - been looking at a £9.99 knog light - are they any good or any other reccomendations?

These are surprisingly good. I tacked them on the end of a larger order when the On-One checkout said "d'you want some lights with that squire? Only a fiver!"

Not tested the range, but they're pretty bright. Small velcro strap and rubber on the bottom of the light to keep it in place. About the size of the end of your thumb.

I got one of these

Its very tiny, suprisingly bright, rubber strap QR fitting and inbuilt USB rechargeable battery (so save having to find some of those watch batteries).

I just use my DX torch which I strap to the bars with an old leather toe strap. Loop over the torch, under the bar then back over the torch, yank, and it's done.

These EBAY lights are great. Use it on flash for my commute as a back up, but good beam on it's own. Bargain.
