Need a CO2 inflator for the road bike - ideally as compact as possible (for triathlon duty). Any recommendations?

Get a threaded one, they're more compact for fitting in tiny saddlebags. I got a non-threaded cylinder one, and while it's better for MTB as you can leave half full cylinders in it without worying about them unthreading and freezing your back, it is a bit more bulky.

Just remember to wear thick gloves or get a neoprene sleve for the cylinder when using threaded cylinders, they get very cold (cold enough to burn the flesh off your hand). Non threaded ones obviously have to be in a container to hold them onto the head so don't have this problem.
