Looking for some thoughts here everyone.
Want to build up a new steel hardtail for a variety of uses - riding trails, puling trailers, carrying daughters on bike seats.
Been looking around and putting cost aside for a moment I am now in a debate as to what wheel size. 26" or 29"?
I have an offer on a new rock lobster 26" red frame which is sweet (£350). I have found a deal on an On One Inbred also 26", but with a 100mm fork.
A friend advises away from 26". If i did move away it would be a Stanton Sherpa 29" but frankly i don't really have the money for that now.
So question is: what size? which frame? and anyone know any other good deals on steel hardtail - maybe 29"?

I got a cotic simple off ebay for a decent price a few weeks ago - personally I'd be looking for a 2nd hand 26" Soul/RM Blizzard or similar if I needed another (with gears).
