I have a Truvativ Stylo Isis bottom bracket that needs removing- which tool is the one im looking for.
Mine is a Shimano one and the bb axle wont fit through it.
The actual tool detail fitting is the same as shimano but you need to use a spanner type tool rather than a socket. (does that make sense?)

Nope- thats an external bb tool like for Shimano hollowtech. I have an older Isis type.... 🙁

Is it like a Park Tools one?
Has anyone got one they dont need anymore? Want to sell it to me? 😀
It should be something like this sort of thing:
But it should fit this bb:
So its an old pre 2005 non external type bb.
Its a pain really...... 😥
Anyone got one to sell ❓
If its a truvativ bb then that tool that's labled above wrongly as hollow tech tool will fit. But that last pic does not look like it is.
Get the shimano tool for old taper bottom
Brackets that use a 32 mm spanner and not a 1/2 socket fitting
Most shops should stock the one you need.
Thanks everyone 😀
Think i'm going to put the bike in the car and go to my local shop, if he hasn't got it he'll order it 😉
Just wanted to make do i suppose 😳
