My old Garmin chest HR monitor has stopped working.
Any recommendations for a replacement?
I recently moved to a wahoo HR monitor. Way more comfy than the Garmin one and also has bluetooth so I can use it with my phone.
The one up there looks pretty similar.
There is a way to reset the monitor if the battery has been replaced, but it is not being picked up by the unit.
The new Scosche Rhythm 24 looks interesting. https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2018/01/scosches-rhythm-24-optical-hr-sensor.html
I've never understood the dcr love of the scosche stuff. He goes over the top about it but my experience has been that it is ok but not dramatically better than other stuff and not as good as a chest strap. I like it but wouldnt rave about it
Decathlon Geonaute. Works great.

I quite like my scosche rhythm, and always use it for cycling. Usually use a hrm-run for running though.
I have the Cardio one from Amazon - works fine with my Tom Tom watch and Garmin GPS units
