My original float 140mm forks with QR are coming to the end of their life. I want something stiffer adjustable with a bit more travel.
I love the Fox 36 Talus 160 on my wife Scott and like the extra travel and ability to lower for climbing.
I want a 15mm bolt through adjustable fork and am looking at the
Fox talus 160
Swiss DT EXM 150
Rock Shok Revalation RLT Ti
The shop I was in today did a strong sell on the Swiss DT with its long service interval, stiffness and the launch control setting on the damper arm. My only concern is that that seems to lower and stiffen the fork so I wonder how it will feel on the lower setting on flat fast ground.
Thoughts?
thanks
you wonder how a suspension fork will feel on flat fast ground WHY?
I meant flat as in not down hill but lumpy when I would usually run less suspension to keep the riding position lower but would still wish it to be active and I wonder if the swiss DT forks would feel locked out?

Buy the one that matches your frame colour the best. Then just ride the thing!

Well it made me laugh 😀
Don't worry j_me i had a little chuckle as well.
boy you lot are not PC! Why should my wife not be called Scott!
Alternatively they did not teach apostrophes at my school
"my wifes' Scott"
Hard to argue with the Revelations really, they're not massively stiff but still stiffer than your Floats, superbly controlled, and weigh less than some XC forks. But it'll depend on what you really want to do with it, a Five can be put to some really serious work and 36s or Lyriks might suit that better. For most folks though a Rev is spot on.
