...for my holiday cross bike.
Light, mainly slick but with some gravel/forest road capability, puncture resistance would be good too 😐
What do you recommend?
Continental travel contact.
Cheap, reliable, fast and never had a puncture with mine
Yep travel contacts here too.
Marathon Mondial
I fitted some Schwalbe Marathon Dureme 622-42 foldings to my LHT..
they seem robust etc though hard to get - think they may have been discountinued - I got mine from one of the German sites as cheaper -
next replacement will be with Marathon Supremes as these are easier to get
Cheers guys, ill have a look at those suggestions.
Cheapy Landcruisers ?
Try Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour - Rose Bikes usually have them at a good price.
Marathon duremes. I got some from sjs I think for cheap, 700x40.
maybe not enough tread?, but inexpensive:

Teetosugars, where did you get your clement tyres from? I looked (not very hard) and couldn't find any UK sales anywhere Thanks
edit I see SJS list them but have no stock I'll persevere.
Tim at Sideways got me mine Istig..
X'plor MSO is soon to be available in 32c
Marathon supreme tyres are worth a look too, near slick but surprisingly good on gravel and dirt for that type of tyre. Very hard wearing and not had a puncture in 2 years on them.
