I have taken a chunk out of the side wall on my Whyte 529 29er and so need a replacement. Can anyone recommend a good replacement for a mixture of mainly singletrack and some road commuting.

Rocky or rooty singletrack - what type of soil?

I'm currently using a Specialized Ground Control tyre. It says 2.1" but looks like it comes up bigger, tubeless ready and only £30. I like it! Fairly fast rolling and whenever it has broken away it has always found some grip again very quickly (so far anyway!!) Probably best in the dry though to be honest

Rapid Robs for that, cheap and cheerful, basically the old style Racing Ralph pattern and only £13.
