Second hand ragley big wig (or new if you can find them discounted).

Mines the 2016 version so has 142x12 rear end so would work without having to convert to boost. it's slack and is superb fun.

low cost route:

https://www.bike-discount.de/en/buy/radon-zr-race-29-frame-black-yellow-709868

130 mm fork works without problems on such an XC frame which was originally designed for 100 mm. Such a bike will be in fact much more fun with an 130 mm fork...

But clear: to avoid overloading the frame I wouldn't use this bike to do crazy jumps.

bike-discount always has lots of low cost frames - but better deals in winter time again. Above "Radon ZR Race" frame only one example.

140 GBP for such an 29 XC frame is little money. More information about the ZR: on the radon-bikes.de web page.

Have fun.
