I'm after something that's reasonably water resistant or quick drying, not overly fussed about warmth as I run hot anyway and as my commute takes in lots of barely used back roads I don't play black ice roulette when it gets properly cold. My current canvass basic spd shoes are fine for the summer but get too soggy in the wet. Being able to walk in them is a must too. Budget around 100 quid I guess. What's out there?
Bump - 'cos I'm after something similar. I was considering Giro Republic?
has anyone use the lake mx100?
I've used sidi dominator's for years as my spring to autumn commuting shoes. They last for ever, are very comfortable, dry reasonably quickly but when they are wet they feel fine really as they're leather.
I've had a pair since 2004, since 2006 I've probably ridden around 4000 miles a year in them, that makes them well worth their initial cost.
You may not get them for £100 though.
