Simple question!

£1000 Halfords Cycle to Work voucher, getting a new mountain bike (to ride to work as well as MTBing!!)

Still torn on what to get - can be anywhere that take the Halfords vouchers!

Boardman Pro 29er is top at mo!!

To a proper bike shop that accepts Halfords vouchers for a start. Many LBSs do, and you'll get proper service and back up

Just saying, like. 🙂

Leisure Lakes will accept halfords CTW vouchers but they will charge you full price on sale/discounted bikes.

All bike shops should charge you full price on C2W purchases, the rules usually state it applies to purchases at RRP.

Certainly the HMRC scheme does.... 👿

The boardman 29er pro is bloody ace. It rides better than my Salsa and handles a treat. Ignore the Halfords haters the bike is good and mine came setup perfectly in fact I haven't had to do much to it.

There's no restriction on price from HMRC. It's the huge commissions that halfords/cyclescheme etc take that keeps bikes at RRP

Just recommended to my cus as she had to buy from there due to their tie in with the company she works for. She is well chuffed with it her first "proper" mtb 😀

Currently ride a 29er and like it though... May regret going 650b
