I’ve just found, in the back of a file of very old bank statements, a small book entitled ‘A Walkers Guide to Snowdon and the Beddgelert District’ printed by my grandfather’s printing company in Newcastle in 1949.
There are a couple for sale on amazon but this one is a proof copy with hand written corrections throughout.
My dad doesn’t know where it came from but it’s clearly something we’ve had in the family for a while. It’s in very good condition.

Not planning on selling* it but I’d love to know if it’s something a collector would be interested in and whether I should be storing it carefully.
There aren’t any antique book shops in Pembroke where I live.

*unless it’s worth more than my mortgage!

eBay. It's the only valuation worth having. What someone will actually pay...

Looks like it's a reprinted edition of an earlier book. I'd hazard a guess that it's not worth much but it seems like the kind of thing local historians would love.
