Hello all...
So where's nice to stay for the above?
A small group of us will be travelling from various parts of the country, so will need to stay over, and we'd also like a nice pub and a good steak or similar....
Obviously the accomodation needs to be bike-friendly in some manner...
Any suggestions/recommendations/info?
Thanks...
The cabins at Bryn Bettws are perfect for groups. They've got everything you need, and you're straight out of the door onto the trails at Afan. Secure storage for the bikes too
Or GreenLanterns which has the T-Bones steak house restaurent
is the hobo hostel in tredegar still going?

the cabins & GreenLanterns look great... doing some more investigation now!
The cabins are ace in the summer. BBQ on the terrace, lots of beer.
Oh, and before that, a few runs of the 4X track to round out the day. Whole lumping great heaps of fun!
Hell, you can do a BBQ in the winter as well, so get to it!
Oh, and apologies for any interesting reading in the piles of magazines in them. My ride group may have inadvertently (ahem) left some gentertainment behind on occasion...
Stayed at Afan Lodge once. Very nice indeed.
+1 for Afan Lodge great food, great rooms loads of bike storage and you can ride to the trails in a few. Minutes
