I have a week's holiday, but being crap haven't booked anything. I was fancying Morzine, but all the stuff on Airbnb looks a bit pants or expensive.
What's Verbier like? Or anywhere else round Geneva I should be considering?
Both road and MTB bikes will be with me.
Forget airbnb (massively over-rated ime) - just call the local tourist office. For Morzine I've stayed with either SkiBlueRidge or Grand Teton. Verbier is excellent mtb-wise (although best trails are not bike park but on paths/tracks) and there will be lots of apartments you can rent (probably best to stay down in La Chable as trails finish down there), doesn't really have bikers vibe though you may feel a bit lonely. Check your timing as Verbier music festival is soon and town will be packed out/expensive. Not sure about road biking around there.
