Got a day off tomorrow - where should I ride?
I'm an hour away from CYB, Long Mynd - haven't ridden either before
45 mins from Machynlleth - haven't ridden any of the loops
30 mins from Nant yr Arian (can ride there almost anytime)
Elan Valley?

Decisions, decisions

On a nice weekday it'd have to be Long Mynd. It's great on a dry weekend and can only assume less walkers midweek.

Lots of up, down, up, down... repeat till your spent and the hit the Carding Mill cafe, or one in the village for some well earned refreshment.

Either download and print off the trails map, or pop into Blazing Bikes and they'll point you in the right direction. You'll need an OS map or Strava segments for the hidden gems

What Carlo said. Always best ride the Long Mynd when:-
A) Weather is nice (there's nowhere worse when it's wet, cold and windy).
B) Mid week when there's few walkers about.

Forecast looking quite good tomorrow.

Checkout myndcam.com in the morning and if the sky is blue get over there!

Long Mynd if it's drying out a bit. Looking out the window today, that's where I'd go if I was down that way. Will be superb.

Excellent.

Slight change of plan so going to do the Syfydrin long route at Nant instead, but will bear in mind all the thumbs up for Long Mynd and will head over there next flexi day that I get

Cheers everyone
